Council for British Archaeology - Wessex Region

Our Treasurer & Wiltshire Representative will step down at the next AGM and we need candidates for these two important positions - see below.

We will be seeking a new Treasurer and Wiltshire Representative at the next AGM.If you are interested in either of these positions please contact the Chair or Secretary (see the CBA Wessex Contacts page for contact details).
Welcome to CBA Wessex. We are the regional group of the Council for British Archaeology promoting and supporting archaeology in the counties of Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.

CBA Wessex welcomes everyone with a concern for our historic environment. We are an independent charity funded by our members' subscriptions and your support provides the resources to fulfil our aims in the field of education, conservation and information provision. It also strengthens the profile of archaeology in the minds of decision makers and gives a voice to this region's past.

Our aim with this site is to provide news and  information about what is happening in the world of archaeology in our region and also provide help and advice for those who want to become involved in practical ways with fieldwork, research and conservation.

Comments, suggestions and items for the website will be welcomed - please send to Francis Taylor frstaylor1@btinternet.com (please note my new email address)
